What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember information about your visit — for instance, whether you have already seen a particular notice, or which language you prefer.
Cookies do not contain personal information on their own, but they can work alongside other information to identify you. Websites use them to make the experience more consistent and useful across repeated visits.
There are two main kinds. Session cookies exist only while your browser is open and are deleted automatically when you close it. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period, or until you remove them manually.
Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
Always active
These cookies are required for the site to function. They handle things like remembering your cookie preferences and keeping the session stable. They cannot be switched off because the site relies on them to operate correctly.
Examples: session identifiers, cookie-consent record
Analytics Cookies
Optional
These cookies help us understand how visitors use the site — which pages are visited most, where people arrive from, and how long they stay. This information helps us improve what we offer. All data is aggregated and does not identify individual visitors.
Examples: page view counts, session duration, referral source
Marketing Cookies
Optional
These cookies are used to show you content that may be relevant to your interests across other websites. They also help us understand whether our own outreach efforts are reaching the right people. You may opt out at any time.
Examples: ad interaction tracking, audience segmentation
Preference Cookies
Optional
These cookies remember choices you make to personalise your experience — such as your language or region. Without them, you may need to re-enter your preferences each time you visit.
Examples: language selection, display settings

Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on our site are placed by third-party services that we use to understand how the site is being used, or to reach people who may find our resources useful. These services have their own privacy and cookie policies, which we encourage you to read.
- Google Analytics — helps us understand visitor patterns on an anonymous, aggregated basis.
- Social media platforms — may place cookies if you interact with any sharing features.
- Advertising networks — used only when marketing cookies are accepted.
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes unrelated to our own services.
How Long Cookies Last
Session Cookies
These exist only while your browser is open. When you close the browser, they are deleted automatically. Used mainly for core site functions during your visit.
Persistent Cookies
These remain on your device for a defined period — typically between 30 days and 2 years, depending on the cookie type. You can remove them at any time via your browser settings.
